Catalysis
Avantium offers a range of contract research services to clients in the chemical, refinery and petrochemical industries. Its chemical services focus on catalysis, including catalyst discovery, ranking and optimization as well as catalytic process optimization projects. In these projects the combined customer's and Avantium's expertise in catalysis, the application in high-throughput experimentation leads to optimal synergy.
Among our staff are experts in catalysis, as well as in applied statistics and modeling. They have proven industry experience in their fields, and will oversee the scoping and execution of projects and data evaluation.
A team of technologists with a thorough understanding of catalyst preparation, testing and analysis specializes in carrying out high-throughput R&D programs. The team is headed by a project leader and is at our customers' disposal when services are contracted to Avantium.
Avantium has developed proprietary hardware and software platforms to screen and evaluate catalysts for a broad range of applications in fixed-bed and batch operation.

Avantium's catalyst library includes a large number of commercial catalysts and carriers, which can be used in screening projects.
