Successful European Crystal16 User Meeting 2008. The Crystal16 User Meeting presentations are now available

The Crystal16 User Meeting presentations are now available to Crystal16 users who did not attend the meeting.

During the morning session three presentations were given on different topics.
1. Discovering new Co-Crystals and nucleation rate determinationDr. Joop ter Horst; Separation Technology, Delft University of Technology The Netherlands.
2. Crystallization techniques and Early Stage Final Step/Solid Form Optimization ChallengesMs. Alison Acciacca; PEDPD Group, Pfizer USA
3. Process Scale up of Crystallization - What can we learn from itDr. Mike Song; Solid State Group, Organon The Netherlands
In the afternoon all participants took part in a discussion forum covering, among others, future developments necessary to study crystallization within the pharmaceutical industry. Avantium has several development projects to provide more value in the workflow of crystallization research and development in the future.
The meeting continued with a visit to the laboratories of Avantium. The Director of Pharmaceutical Services, Michael Millan, presented the use of the Crystal16 in the workflow of Avantium. After a laboratory tour, the meeting ended in an informal sphere with a reception.
