Avantium to speak at the Innovation Exchange Conference 2010

Tom van Aken, CEO of Avantium, will speak at the Innovation Exchange Conference, in Copenhagen on October 14, 2010. He will present about Avantium’s cleantech activities in YXY building blocks for making green materials and fuels. The presentation is part of the Disruptive Technologies track of the conference program.
The Innovation Exchange Conference is an annual meeting organized by the European Tech Tour Association, in association with Informilo and the European Venture Capital Association. The event brings together the hottest technology companies in Europe, major corporations and venture capitalists. A selection committee of leading venture capital and industry professionals has selected a privileged group of 15 companies out of very large pool of start-up and growth companies to present during the Innovation Exchange, to some 200 targeted international corporate and global investors.
The selection committee used the following criteria to the select the companies for the Innovation Exchange 2010:
• Proven, breakthrough technology
• Worldwide market ambition
• Quality management team
• Evidence of commercial traction
• Strength of third-party validation
