Polymorph Screening

The company's dedicated solid state research team has a broad expertise in solving problems related to polymorphism and crystallization, and in generating and identifying new crystal forms. Its unique polymorph screening methodology enhances understanding of the polymorphic behavior of drug candidates. The scope and size of those studies will vary depending on the development stage of the drug candidate. Avantium supports clients in their selection of the optimal crystal form for drug development, starting with small studies for pre-clinical identification of a stable form up to late stage comprehensive programs in order to pinpoint as many crystal forms as possible for IP protection.
