These are truly unprecedented times, with the coronavirus affecting more than just our health. Avantium is taking all necessary steps to ensure the well-being of our employees, our partners, and the wider communities in which we live and work.

In line with Dutch government advice, most of our teams are working from home since 16 March 2020 at least until 6 April 2020. Our colleagues continue to be available via online video meetings and/or telephone. Our critical operations at the offices, laboratories, and plant sites continue running. We have subsequently taken a number of steps to split critical operations as much as possible and ensure the continuity and capacity of our operations and systems. We took precautionary measures including guidance on hygiene, the provision of hand sanitizers in our buildings, and additional cleaning of offices. We also deferred all business travel inside and outside Dutch borders.

We will closely monitor the situation and we will keep you updated as this challenging situation continues to evolve. We are committed to doing our best to prevent further spread of the coronavirus.
