Amsterdam, 14 June 2017 – Avantium, a leading chemical technology company and forerunner in renewable chemistry announces today that its Annual General Meeting (AGM) has approved all resolutions.
The resolutions presented on the agenda of the AGM today included:
· Adoption of the annual accounts 2016;
· Appointment of Margret Kleinsman as member of the supervisory board;
· Discharge from liability of Michiel Boersma and Claude Stoufs for the performance of their duties as members of the supervisory board;
· Appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers Accountants N.V. as external auditor.
On behalf of the company the supervisory board wishes to thank Michiel Boersma and Claude Stoufs for their dedication, loyalty and valuable contributions during their time as supervisory board members.
Following the AGM, Avantium’s Supervisory Board comprises five members: Jan van der Eijk (Chairman), Gabrielle Reijnen, Jonathan Wolfson, Denis Lucquin and Margret Kleinsman.
